Santa Claus is Comin' to Town
What a birthday for me. First we went out to lunch with my birfday partner in crime, my sweetheart of a mother. Then we took Seth to go see Santa for the first time. Santa was a far cry from Willie in Bad Santa, but Seth did not seem to care.

Meet Olivia Rose Todd
We are so happy to introduce you to Olivia Rose Todd. She is the newest addition to the Todd clan. Shannon and Melissa welcomed her into the world Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 3:46 pm EST. She tipped the scales at 6 lbs. 5 oz. and stretched an impressive 19.5 inches. Mom and Dad have been understandably busy, so their blog has not been updated since the birf, but I'm sure it soon will be. Check it out at: http://www.totsites.com/tot/nctodds
Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
It won't be long before Seth is on the move. Here he is demonstrating his ability to roll over.

The Wingmen
Back to D-Town
I had to put this picture of Rocky up because I think it's hilarious that a dog can lie down, place his entire body weight on his nuts and not seem to mind.
Already a Picky Eater
Seth has been eating food now for about a month and generally takes a liking to just about everything. However, if he has not had something before, his first reactions are pretty funny.

Clarky!!!
We had a global meeting for work last week and the Senior VP or our division lives in Tampa which means...the meeting was in Tampa. So, not only did I not have to travel, but I got to hang out with one of my best buds after the meeting. Tom Clark was in the house!! Basically, this guy took me under his wing when I move to NC and taught everything I needed to know, thanks Tom!
FYI, Tom has a rental house in Boone, NC. It's a log cabin in the mountains and it's unbelievable. If you're interested, let me know and I'll forward you the rates.
Happy Halloween!!
Ok, our 2nd favorite holiday, Halloween, was no disappointment this year, especially considering is was Seth's first. Unfortunately, Seth's mustache make up was water soluble. So, being the drool monkey that he is, it didn't last long. But, he was a Harley dude...Grandpa would have been proud!!
"My bike is outside warming up"
"You're not riding bitch with me"
"Mom's riding with me"
"Dad can follow"
"That was a far ride to the pumpkin patch" (Oh, and I have no idea who that is staring at my ass, but I did fart on her!)

Go Buckeyes!
If you recall, Grandpa Terry got Seth to wear a onesie with some garbage on it:
What's a Spartan?
Well, thanks to Auntie Claire, that nonsense came to an end. The timing couldn't have been better considering the 45-7 ass wooping Ohio State handed MI State yesterday!
Yeah baby, go Bucks!
Next Stop...Pizza
We reached a big milestone today - Seth ate real food for the first time. Technically, I suppose he has eaten rice cereal, but this was his first meal with taste! Sweet Potatoes...mmmmmm! As luck would have it, the batteries in the camera went dead just as he was getting the hang of it. In the video shown, he kind of gets it, but not really. After the camera stopped rolling, he polished off what was left in about 5 minutes. That's our boy!!

The Tunnel of Wonder
Seth's Man Chair
Every man needs to have his man chair. I am actually quite jealous of Seth's. His has two cup holders built right into the thing. If it had a built in urinal, it would without a doubt be the greatest invention in the history of man kind.
Someone Likes Cereal...Sort of
Since the last post, we have been trying to introduce some nourishment that doesn't come from the tap. Here is a video of the little man tackling some rice cereal...mmmm.

Seth Goes Under Cover as Osama bin Todden!!!
Update: Thanks to Uncle Shannon for the hilarious name!
The CIA called the other day in a recruiting effort to plant Seth in the home of a suspected Al-Qaeda operative. I think he has the disguise down pat, but due to his lack of linguistic skills, I had to say no.
MI Trip
One great thing about having kids, is that it gives you a great excuse to spend more time with the family. Stacy recently spent a week with her parents, and I joined them for the last couple of days. What a blast!
Me and T hit the links and as usual, he put on a clinic. Larry, Al and Steve were also there. Aside from the great company and a few cold ones, another highlight had to be the 80 year old dinosaur we ran into on one of the holes - freaking hilarious!
I posted a few pics from the trip below, here are a few others.
The Joker
Oh, Hell No!
Stacy and I spent a few days in MI recently. I had some business on the west side of the state and headed to the other side afterwards to hang out with the inlaws.
When the cats away, the mice will play. Grandpa T took advantage of the time that I was on the west side and tried to corrupt the little man. Obviously, you can see what Seth thinks about MI State. Not shown is the brown stain he later left on the outfit!

Back to the Roost
As much as I would rather not have to travel for work, I do try to make the most of it as I did last week when I had business in Cincinnatti. I arrived a day early and headed north to see family in Wakeman. Here I am with Aunt Sue and Uncle Fred who are always up for a chat. The slideshow contains pictures of my Grandparents farm - the shingles on the barn used to proudly display the Todd family name. Other than that being changed by the new owners, it does look as I always remembered it.
I did stop at a produce stand on the way up and picked up a dozen ears of Ohio sweet corn. I don't know what makes Ohio sweet corn so good, but it is the best!
Watching TV and All Smiles
Woof! Woof! Woof!
Thanks to Auntie Melissa, Seth was able to properly gear up for start of the Browns season. I told him the Browns were going to win the Superbowl this year, and as you can see from the picture, he was pretty excited. Unfortunately, after about 30 minutes, we had an overflow situation that gave new meaning to his "Browns" jersey.

Happy Birf!!!
Someone got just a wee bit older this weekend. Momma Todd celebrated the big 3-1! Ouch! Lucky for me, she's still a cutie pie. We took it easy this year, but did manage to go out and put away a few rolls of sushi. Seth slept the entire time. He was so quiet, we got half way home before realizing he was still in the restaurant!
We washed down the rolls with a Publix cake with buttercream icing, mmm... Not sure what she wished for, but hopefully it will come true - she did blow all of the candles out on the first try, with the exception of the trick ones I put on the perimeter.
Seth was able to write on his mom's card. I put a pen in his kung-fu grip and moved the card around. You can kind of see it in the last pic - his is the one on the right.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Love ya, B
Grandma Mimi Swings by to See the Little Man
Grandma Mimi made the journey south to hang out with her newest grandson. Good times were had by all, especially Seth (see below). Thanks again Mimi for stocking our freezer with "eat till you puke cause its that good" macaroni and cheese and spinach pie!
I am also happy to report she managed not to get pulled over by the cops this time!
Somebody loves his Grandma
